“Newell ranch rodeo-teams enter and come to newell to participate. 45 cowboys particpated ranging in ages from 4 to 76. There were 250 spectators. This brings people to our community to contribute to our economy. Concession benefitted local youth, and funds are donated to our area food bank.”

“Labor day weekend - rodeo, 5k run, queen contest, parade, kids games, car show, tractor pull. 168 cowboys participated in the rodeo and there were 800 spectators. Hundreds of people come for the weekend. We raise money to improve arena and build new grandstands.”

“Summer playday series-we offer 4 evenings of rodeo events for the youth. 142 kids participated from sd, mt, and wy. Admission is free, local sponsors contribute to the prizes. We offer a potluck dinner and present awards to youth.”

“Cornhole game expenses - we offered a cornhole tournament in the park. We purchased new boards. 1200 general expenses - office supplies, postage, insurance, filing fees. 2091 5k run expenses - we spnsor a walk/run. T shirts are presented to particpants. 676 arena repairs - we financially and physically make repairs to the city's arena. 825 easter egg hunt expenses - on saturday before easter, we stuff and hide eggs at the football field. All area children agres 0-12 can attend 289 queen contest expesnes - judges, meals, awards are needed for this contest. 192 santa day expenses - we have a visit from santa, games, food, and treats for the kids. 8 bike giveaway. 252 swimming lessons expenses - we offer 2 weeks of swimming lessons for the area kids. 1613 total other program services expenses 7,138”
