FORM 990 - ORGANIZATION'S MISSION

The robert irvine foundation is a not-for-profit entity and is tax exempt under 501(c) (3) of the internal revenue code (irc). The organization supports and strengthens the physical and mental well-being of our service members, veterans, first responders, and their families. We provide these heroes with life-changing opportunities that unlock the potential in their personal and professional lives through food, wellness, community, and financial support. Program 1. Wellness programs our wellness programs support the mental and physical well-being of america's injured, ill, aging, and wounded heroes and their families. These programs address both visible and invisible wounds of service, helping individuals heal, regain independence, and connect with others who understand their experiences. We provided 5 mobility devices to severely injured veterans, helping restore their independence, dignity, and mental well-being by enabling them to overcome physical barriers and navigate daily life with greater freedom. We provided 3 fully trained service dogs to veterans living with ptsd and trauma. These loyal companions offer comfort during distressing moments, reduce symptoms of anxiety, and provide a constant sense of security and connection. Through reuniting the brave, we brought together more than 2,250 veterans, military families, and gold star families to reconnect with those they served alongside. These gatherings create safe, supportive environments where participants can process trauma, grieve together, and find solidarity among peers. We continued to share powerful, unfiltered stories through 45 episodes of the medevac podcast, featuring veterans, service members, and civilians who spoke openly about their experiences with injury, recovery, resilience, and mental health. These conversations help reduce stigma and remind others they are not alone. And through our face the fight initiative, we supported over 380 heroes and their families affected by post-traumatic stress, post-traumatic growth, and suicide. By integrating evidence-based practices such as crisis response planning and lethal means safety into our programming, we equip veterans, first responders, and caregivers with tools to recognize warning signs, respond to mental health crises, and access critical resources. Through these combined efforts, our wellness programs continue to make a measurable and meaningful difference in the lives of those who serve. Program 2. Food programs the robert irvine foundation's food programs are personally inspired and curated by our founder, robert irvine, whose career as a navy veteran and world-renowned chef has been deeply rooted in serving those who serve us. Robert witnessed firsthand the powerful role food plays in nourishing not just the body, but also the mind and spirit-bringing people together and creating a sense of connection and comfort. Through our breaking bread with heroes program, we served over 12,790 delicious meals to service members, veterans, first responders, and their families, offering more than just a plate of food-each meal became a moment of recognition, community, and gratitude. In 2024, as 1 in 6 military families faced food insecurity, we provided direct support to over 35 families struggling to put meals on the table. These efforts aimed to ease the financial strain many military households continue to experience and ensure that no hero or their family goes hungry. Through our let's chow food truck program, more than 9,230 veterans were impacted by hands-on culinary training, mentorship, and entrepreneurship opportunities. This initiative empowers transitioning service members and veterans to build meaningful careers in the food industry and foster community through cuisine. Program 3. Community programs the robert irvine foundation's community programs are designed to foster connection, build peer support networks, and promote resilience among our nation's heroes and their families. Through shared experi
