FORM 990-EZ, PART III, LINE 28, PROGRAM SERVICE ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

Rotarian action group for peace (ragfp) has informed 2,478 ragfp members from 108 countries about local and global peacebuilding projects, activities and events. Ragfp members include leading community leaders and are part of various peacebuilding organizations, rotary clubs and rotary districts worldwide. The top three countries represented by ragfp membership this year are: united states of america, canada and australia. Rotarian action group for peace was actively engaged in numerous activities throughout the year to promote peace and understanding in the united states and the world. Here are a few examples of ragfp service projects that highlight how it made a difference in fiscal year 2019: positive peace workbook and workshop: peace fellow, iep positive peace ambassador, and ragfp executive director reem ghunaim and her team from psu, researched and compiled stories of significant rotary peace projects from rotary clubs around the world. They utilized logic tables to link the impact of these projects to the iep's 8 pillars of peace and created an interactive workbook and workshop that allows readers and participants to conceptualize how rotary projects can have sustainable and measurable impacts upon peace in their communities. The workbook and workshop tell the stories of peace projects and the logic model demonstrates how these projects impacted the 8 pillars of peace. It leads the participants to think critically about how they can design and implement their own club projects strategically directed at a specific pillar of peace. The workbook was distributed to 150 participants at workshop at the rotary international (ri) and outside the workshop convention in hamburg, germany. Many rotarians shared this workbook with their home rotary clubs, and we were asked by ri to adapt the workbook and workshop to rotary's positive peace academy curriculum. We were invited to present this workshop to leading ngo's at geneva peace week november 4-8, 2019, in geneva, switzerland, and is evolving this workbook and workshop to be included in the rotary positive peace academy, and be presented as an interactive workshop in rotary clubs and districts. This workbook and workshop educates all rotarians how their rotary service projects can have a focused and measurable peace component. This education infuses intention, strategy and action into rotary's peace area of focus. It educates all rotarians about the iep's positive peace construct and helps rotarians learn how their service projects can have an intentional focus upon peace in their communities. Middle east peace education trip: the middle east trip is an ongoing project of ragfp to facilitate rotarian peace action in conflict zones by promoting cooperation and mutual understanding. The purpose of the education mission is for the ragfp board to learn about the various aspects of the conflict by respectfully listening to and learning without judgment from engaged citizens as well as leaders on both sides to hear their perspectives on the current status and the future of the peace process. This educational mission is set to establish a citizen diplomacy approach to a conflict where people are learning from people. The group will meet israeli and palestinian rotarians to hear from them about the current challenges and how ragfp can assist them to advance understanding, goodwill, and peace on the ground. This mission is not to show any affiliation to any group or party. It is simply to identify and collaborate with peacebuilder rotarians, rotaractors and rotary peace fellows in the region who can advance peace on the ground. Peacebuilder clubs: ragfp globalized ad streamlined a peacebuilder club concept began in rotary district 5100 with 22 original clubs. These original clubs were asked to promote the rotary peace fellowship (rpf) program and to contribute to the rotary foundation to support peace centers. Ragfp criteria are focused entirely upon activating rotary clubs in rotary's p
