To deconstruct the binary nature of emergency housing services in metro Atlanta. To accomplish our mission we employed a full-time Program Manager and a part-time Case Manager to field requests for housing assistance. The housing assistance we provided to individuals in 2024 included direct cash assistance for rent, utilities, security deposits, application fees, identity document application and copy fees, transportation assistance, and motel rooms and short-term rentals. We also provided food, household goods, toiletries and other personal hygiene products. We provided these forms of assistance to a total of 93 individuals. We kept the maximum amount of cash or equivalent assistance per person at a level up to $600.00 per person, though we made exceptions in certain circumstances. The total amount of cash spent in direct assistance was $37,162.97 |
