“During 2024, funds supporting mission mexico were used as follows: 1)to provide regular one on one therapy from professional psychologists for 70% of the youth in the mission mexico children's home and transition house. 2) to provide educational sponsorship for 26 youth to continue full time education, ranging from kindergarten to university. 3) for continued sponsorship of long-term paid staff members who help care for and support the youth (23 full-time and 10 part-time positions). 4) to provide weekly community cooking classes, with 356 participants in 2024 including 60% female and 40% male attendees. The youth participants learned healthy, budget friendly recipes designed for real life application. 5) to provide 1,500 menstrual health kits distributed to needy women and girls in the community. 6) to provide 50 dental cleanings and 46 dental visits for youth in mission mexico's children's home and transition house. 7) to provide a community reading circle (youth book club) to foster a love of books. 23 youth participants received books to read and discuss at monthly sessions where they developed self-knowledge, critical thinking and essential life skills.”
