“How do you discover student strengths and create hope for families who otherwise saw no hope for an independent future for their child with learning differences? You create a clearwater academy .as a national model for how students with learning differences should be educated this can be done by creating an inviting environment with an expert staff that utilizes the best of the best strategies and proven academic programs with therapies all included in the school day, and then create partnerships with every family, community sponsor, corporate supporter, and the medical community so that the right services are always being provided to every child all the time success is measured in numerous ways at clearwater academy. First and foremost, success is measured in the happy spirits of children laughing and enjoying being in a school environment that is 100 supportive, encouraging and involved. You also measure success by the words, email messages, phone calls of parents who say, thank you fo providing a place where my child feels successful i respected i happy i and now has friends - ii success is also measured in annual achievement scores that show one year of academic growth or two or more years of academic growth in reading and mathematics. You also measure results by the number of students who return year after year to clearwater academy by the number of new students who are enrolled year after year by the number of students who have shown incredible mastery of academics and social development that they are able to return to the public school setting by the number of students graduating with a high school diploma by the number of_ students participating in local business internships and excited about their futures by the number of corporate sponsors who believe in what you are doing by the low teacher turn over and by the happy faces you see on every student' s face as you greet them at the back door each morning and welcome them to another day at clearwater academy.
