The alliance of community service providers is a non-profit association of organizations that provide service to children and adults with mental health conditions, substance abuse disorders and/or intellectual disabilities. The alliance works to improve the quality and sustainability of services, provide a voice for member agencies and the people they serve at the city and state levels, and create a venue for collaboration, problem solving and information sharing.

The alliance is a trade association that supports organizations that provide human services in the area of behavioral health, intellectual disabilities and autism. The alliance works to improve the quality and sustainability of services, provide a voice for our member agencies and the people they serve and create a venue for collaboration and information sharing.

All members of the alliance board are given a new conflict of interest policy to sign each year. They are instructed that they must inform us immdiately upon discovery of any conflicts that arise. A discussion with the remainder of the board will occur at the next meeting to determine the most appropriate course of action for dealing with that conflict.

The alliance of community service providers is a nonprofit organization recognized as exempt from federal and state income taxes under section 501(c)(6) of the internal revenue code (irc) and similar state statutes. Management has reviewed tax positions with federal and state jurisdicitions and believes those positions would be sustained should the filings be examined by the relevant taxing authorities. Open periods subject to audit for federal purposes are generally the previous three years of tax returns filed.
