“The classic race boat association, inc. Has been organized to promote and preserve the interest and enjoyment of vintage and classic race boats. The association holds events for the purpose of interested persons to display and run their vintage and classic race boats for the enjoyment and benefit of the members of the organization and the general public. In this way, the association brings attention to the history of power boat racing and the need for the preservation of such vintage and classic water craft. The community at large benefits from these events because they add to the knowledge and history of the sport. In addition, each event brings income to the local economy from lodging, food and the support of local businesses whose services are purchased to support the event.”
