The officers of the board of directors, along with the finance committee of the board of directors are presented the form 990 to review 2 weeks prior to submitting to the irs.

All employees are required to review and answer questions concerning the conflict of interest policy upon hire and on an annual basis, signing and dating the policy. All core volunteers, such as chapter presidents are required to review and answer questions, with signatures and dates, on an annual basis.

The executive director holds a quarterly and annual review with all of the senior directors, followed by a meeting with the officers of the board of directors to approve compensation for those positions. The executive director, along with senior directors, provides quarterly and annual reviews of all other directors and key personnel. Together they review similar positions in other non-profits combined with results of employee reviews to set compensation levels. All payroll is then reviewed and voted on by the board of directors.

Form 990, Page 2, Part III, Line 4A

Sleep in havenly peace, inc. (shp), founded in twin falls, idaho in 2013, was established as a non-profit organization for the purpose of providing fully furnished, hand made beds for children who are otherwise without a bed of their own. Shp believes the number of children experiencing "bedlessness" is a silent epidemic and that the number of children in need far exceeds the availablity of beds for the underprivileged. The organizations's mission, to see that no kid sleeps on the floor in our town, has guided the growth and expansion of shp to 340 chapters across the united states, and an affiliated organization in cananda with two chapters. Community volunteers construct and deliver free, fully furnished beds to children in need in local cpater areas. Shp has only a few compensated employees who are responsible for overall business operations. These employees and all volunteers are under the control of a board of directors. All told, in 2024, shp led 96,281 community volunteers to build 76,829 beds and deliver 75,940 beds, getting children in over 19,000 families off the floor and into beds of their own, many for the first time in their life.

SHP BELIEVES THE NUMBER OF CHILDREN EXPERIENCING "BEDLESSNESS" IS A SILENT EPIDEMIC AND THAT THE NUMBER OF CHILDREN IN NEED FAR EXCEEDS THE AVAILABLITY OF BEDS FOR THE UNDERPRIVILEGED. THE ORGANIZATIONS'S MISSION, TO SEE THAT NO KID SLEEPS ON THE FLOOR IN OUR TOWN, HAS GUIDED THE GROWTH AND EXPANSION OF SHP TO 340 CHAPTERS ACROSS THE UNITED STATES, AND AN AFFILIATED ORGANIZATION IN CANANDA WITH TWO CHAPTERS. COMMUNITY VOLUNTEERS CONSTRUCT AND DELIVER FREE, FULLY FURNISHED BEDS TO CHILDREN IN NEED IN LOCAL CPATER AREAS. SHP HAS ONLY A FEW COMPENSATED EMPLOYEES WHO ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR OVERALL BUSINESS OPERATIONS. THESE EMPLOYEES AND ALL VOLUNTEERS ARE UNDER THE CONTROL OF A BOARD OF DIRECTORS. ALL TOLD, IN 2024, SHP LED 96,281 COMMUNITY VOLUNTEERS TO BUILD 76,829 BEDS AND DELIVER 75,940 BEDS, GETTING CHILDREN IN OVER 19,000 FAMILIES OFF THE FLOOR AND INTO BEDS OF THEIR OWN, MANY FOR THE FIRST TIME IN THEIR LIFE.
