The Mr. & Mrs. S.H. Wong Center for the Study of Multinational Corporations ("Wong MNC Center") aims to become a world-class think tank for the production of factual and conceptual knowledge concerning the politico-economy of MNCs in East Asia. As such, it will empower academics, businesspeople, and policymakers to understand better how political and business/economic factors interact in relation to MNCs and in relation to issues of relevance to MNCs and facilitate dialogue among these groups. While making a strong effort to contribute to Hong Kong, its primary and unique mission will be to generate knowledge relating to the political economy of MNCs investing, operating, or domiciled in East Asia. The Wong MNC Center does not support activities relating to traditional MNC-related business disciplines such as, but not limited to, finance, market entry strategies, production, logistics, and sales and marketing.
