“Ypr chapters that have been fully onboarded and that are in good standing may apply for grants to support their work. To apply for a grant, a chapter must first assign a grant writer to your project. The grant writer can be a chapter lead or a chapter member. Whomever is going to apply for the grant must first watch all ypr academy training videos and review the additional material in the ypr academy grant writing folder in the all-staff section of the shared drive as well as review the chapter expansion narrative 2022 document in the shared drive.”

“The organization has a written conflict of interest policy. The board monitors financial relationships that could violate this policy. The chief executive officer monitors employee relationships and transactions to determine conflicts of interest. Staff members are required to disclose possible conflict of interest with guidance from the conflict of interest policy.”

“National operations: young people in recovery (ypr) envisions a world where all young people have the resources they need to thrive in recovery from addiction to drugs and alcohol. Ypr's mission is to provide the life skills and peer support to help young people recover from substance use disorder and reach their full potential. To do this, ypr organizes community-based chapters to support youth & young adults by creating a national network of young people in recovery and empowering individuals to get involved in their communities by providing them with the tools a peer supports. Ypr also offers life-skills programming. The epic program serves people of all ages in treatment for drug and alcohol addiction. The phoenix program is designed for people of all ages with substance use disorder who are involved with the criminal justice system (drug courts, diversion courts) or other agencies that serve this population. We are proud of our outcomes proving that our participants are improving their dedication to their individualized recovery programs; are more engaged with a peer group that supports their recovery; and become better able to access resources that assist their recovery like housing, education, and employment. Ypr welcomes all recovery pathways and is involved in advocacy and harm reduction projects.”
