“The lansdowne bhoys soccer club was formed in 1997 with the ambition of futhering the role of soccer in the local community. To foster and advance the game of soccer by developing, promoting and administering youth clinics and adult teams to advance the skills of all participants by providing professionally certified coaches. To promote and encourage recreation, physical fitness and a community spirit around the sport of soccer. To encourage sportmanship and leadership amongst the players, coaches, volunteer committee members and parents.”

“Professionally certified coaches that cater to all children in the yonkers, new york area. Summer and winter clinics are run every year with an additional summer camp in july coached by top celtic soccer academy personnel. Celtic coaches deliver a week long camp around the "celtic way" in coaching young soccer players. These camps are for boys and girls of all ages and abilities. The players learn new skills and meet new friends in a safe and welcoming environment. An international tour to celtic youth academy in glasgow, scotland took place in 2017. All club home games are held at rented facilities from the parks department at tibbetts brook park in yonkers, new york and an office is rented to support our administration and coaching personnel. In 2017 the club received funds from members dues and subsrciptions, local corporate sponsorship, coaching & clinic income and various fundraising activities as follows: - golf outing - awards night - glasgow tour in 2017 the club had it's most successful year to date, the clubs first team won the us amateur cup and the werner us open cup completing a unique national double, they also won the ny state cup becoming only the 3rd team in history to complete this treble. Add to that the region 1 amateur and fricker cups, our senior reserve team won the state cup, runners up in the league, metro team won their state cup along with both consulate cups a remarkable number of trophies to pick up in one calender year. The club's long term goal is to continue to grow and serve the needs of the local community with well supervised coaching of participants in our youth and adult soccer teams. The success of the club is primarily due to the tireless efforts of our coaches, managers, committee members and volunteers.”
