“The primary objective and purpose of the organization is not at all based on political reasons. Rather it works toward the improvement of cuban citizens' quality of life with the vision that a 'new world' (nuevo mundao) is possible where all the citizens achieve and have access to the same level of progress, development, and quality of life. Our goal is to provide humanitarian assistance to underserved communites in cuba. The organization is committed to support communty empowerment through the collaboative implementation of local sustainable grass-root projects.”

“Part three of the water project in nuevo mundo continued from september of 2015. 10 meter well was dug and extended to 14 meters and upper well surround started to .5 m in height, the farming operation was stated by installation of a live wall around the farming araes, the area was cleared and made ready to received the planting beds. And the planting beds were prepaired. 4 1 cubic meter water storage tanks were purchased and installed. System provides water to the cistern as well as irrigation water for the farming community of nuevo nundo, corcovado, pilon, granma, cuba. The area is mostly dry with only a short rainy season. The idea is to provide water to irrigate crops all year long. These nuevo mundo fields will supply food to the nuevo mundo and corcovado communities which service about 800 people.”

“Continued from april: supply and install a replacement pump controller for the submersable pump, supply and install irrigations system, supply and install new pressure sensor for automatic control of the irrigation system. Supply replaement battery for the cistern potable water system, supply and install new pump head, and check/foot valve. Systems serves two farms with 5 people each. The system is capable of being extended to supply water to three additional farms in the nuevo mundo colony. This is a farming colony that has no easy access to clean potable water. This cistern provides water year round. The filters and pump are maintained by a local individual, who was trained to service and maintain the system. Over the next few years it is our goal to extend the system to serve other farms in the area.”
