Purpose In accordance with United States law, all Can'd Aid received grant funds, and income earned on those funds, will be spent as specified in the grant agreement. Grant funds will only be used for such purposes as outlined by the funding agency and in accordance with the budget submitted with the grant proposal. All grant implementations will align with the foundation's funding guidelines. Any substantial changes from the approved budget will be approved in writing with the foundation prior to implementation. 2. Reporting All Can'd Aid received grant funds will comply with specified grant reporting duties and obligations as outlined by the funding entity. These reports will be submitted by the specified deadline. 2A. Narrative Reporting As such, Can'd Aid commits to tracking, compiling and sharing all necessary narrative reports. This may include but is not limited to detailing what was accomplished by the grant, a description of the progress made toward achieving the goals of the grant and an assurance that the activities under the grant have been conducted in conformity with the terms of the grant. 2B. Financial Reporting Can'd Aid commits to tracking, compiling and sharing all financial statements, in U.S. dollars, as outlined in the grant agreement. This includes all expenditures of grant funds during the grant term. The grant purposes will be charged against the grant, and records will be maintained of such expenditures, allowing Can'd Aid to adequately communicate the use of such fundaids. Any unused funds will be reported and explained as required per the grant agreement. 3. Prohibited Activities In accordance with the the tax laws of the United States, Can'd Aid understands that grant funds received may not be used for any of the following purposes: A. To carry on propaganda, or otherwise to attempt to influence any legislation (within the meaning of Section 4945(d)(1) of the United States Internal Revenue Code); B. To influence the outcome of any specific public election or to carry on, directly or indirectly, any voter registration drive (within the meaning of Section 4945(d)(2) of the United States Internal Revenue Code); C. To make grants to individuals for travel, study or other similar purposes by such individuals (such as scholarships, fellowships or grants for research), unless such grants satisfy the requirements of Section 4945(g) of the IRC; D.
