North Side Movement

“The north side movement is a small family founded organization. There are two family members on the 5 member voting board.”

“During the pandemic regular meetings were held via internet and phone confrence in order to keep the day to day operations going and so that every board member was aprised of situations as they occured.”

“All major decisions are bought up to each member in an open quartely meeting. There are weekly updates of the organization that are emailed to the entire board. If any emergencies happen before regualr set meetings than a meeting is called before any major decision is made.”

“The form 990 is brought to the board for review.”

“The policies of the nsm and bylaws are made public by request. Every meeting is open to the public and at said meetings the public is aware that they are can access the nsm's paperwork.”

“Due to the covid 19 pandemic our organization ceased all onside workshop services, throughout the last of the school year of 2020 iur organization switeched roles and services by providing meals to the elderly and school aged children of the community. We were unable to host outreach programs and opted for a covid safe approach”

“Due to the pandemic we were able to social distance and hold public meetings via internet/social media networks. We provided documentation through those programs along with offering on-phone help. We tried many different ways to stay open to the public as we all navigated the pandemic.”

“The pandemic had a great negative effect to the 2020 revenue and expenses of our organization.”
