The organization's mission is to establish a statewide network for trusted exchange of health data among California's health information. CAHIE has developed a working California version of the Data Use and Reciprocal Support Agreement (Caldursa)based on the National DURSA and adhering to national standards. CAHIE will use the eHealth Exchange policy framework to guide CAHIEs policies and procedures for achieving trusted exchange .
