“In 2020, venture for success preparatory learning center was able to accomplish all tasks set in 2019: 1. We set out to become more of an integral leader within our community. We were able to accomplish this by joining two boards: the colorado association for the education of young children and the governors licensing advisory board, along with several committees. These opportunities have allowed our governing board to develop the tools needed to increase our capacity to compete in a market that is saturated with care centers. 2. The partnerships gain throughout the years has allowed the teaching staff to gain access to more challenging curriculum; thereby, building the confidence within the community to enroll children, not just because parents/guardians have to work; rather, the need to build social and emotional skills needed as children enter elementary school. 3. Nathaniel was able to partner with the city of denver's department of economic development who sponsored an event called "one stock one future." a course designed to teach financial literacy to a community who often struggles with economic disparities. New goals for 2021: 1. After learning more about our community leaders, we are now in a position to be very selective on industry partnerships to build a stronger model of forward thinning early education practices. 2. Although the pandemic has slowed many parts of the economy, our goal is to strengthen our efforts by readying children for one-on-one education, as they ready for elementary school, as many have been out of sync with the continuity of care. 3. Venture for success preparatory learning center will continuing efforts to add layers of transparency between families and children's needs in early education. We are on track to pairing more families with occupational therapy through community partnerships.”

THE PARTNERSHIPS GAIN THROUGHOUT THE YEARS HAS ALLOWED THE TEACHING STAFF TO GAIN ACCESS TO MORE CHALLENGING CURRICULUM; THEREBY, BUILDING THE CONFIDENCE WITHIN THE COMMUNITY TO ENROLL CHILDREN, NOT JUST BECAUSE PARENTS/GUARDIANS HAVE TO WORK; RATHER, THE NEED TO BUILD SOCIAL AND EMOTIONAL SKILLS NEEDED AS CHILDREN ENTER ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. 3. THESE OPPORTUNITIES HAVE ALLOWED OUR GOVERNING BOARD TO DEVELOP THE TOOLS NEEDED TO INCREASE OUR CAPACITY TO COMPETE IN A MARKET THAT IS SATURATED WITH CARE CENTERS. 2. THE PARTNERSHIPS GAIN THROUGHOUT THE YEARS HAS ALLOWED THE TEACHING STAFF TO GAIN ACCESS TO MORE CHALLENGING CURRICULUM; THEREBY, BUILDING THE CONFIDENCE WITHIN THE COMMUNITY TO ENROLL CHILDREN, NOT JUST BECAUSE PARENTS/GUARDIANS HAVE TO WORK; RATHER, THE NEED TO BUILD SOCIAL AND EMOTIONAL SKILLS NEEDED AS CHILDREN ENTER ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. 3. NATHANIEL WAS ABLE TO PARTNER WITH THE CITY OF DENVER'S DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT WHO SPONSORED AN EVENT CALLED "ONE STOCK ONE FUTURE." A COURSE DESIGNED TO TEACH FINANCIAL LITERACY TO A COMMUNITY WHO OFTEN STRUGGLES WITH ECONOMIC DISPARITIES. NEW GOALS FOR 2021: 1.
