“The purpose of the ec (east coweta) gridiron club is to promote the development and maintenance of the sport of football at east coweta high school in sharpsburg, ga. Specifically, this organization promotes academic achievement and leadership qualities among the players. It will cooperate with and support the coaching and administrative staffs of east coweta high school. The organization will also foster school spirit among the students, faculty, parents, and the community. It will encourage recognition of football, the players, coaches, and the east coweta high school football program and enhance communication among coaches, parents, and team members. Finally, the organization will support supplementary items and equipment that coaches and this organization have agreed will enhance the football program and sponsor programs to further financial support of the team and development of individual players.”

“Ec gridiron club feels it is important to support the purchase of player gear and equipment. Sponsoring player gear and equipment fulfills our mission because it promotes team development and individual player development. We feel in the game of football equipment is crucial to safety. For a team or player to fully develop they must feel and stay safe to the best of their ability first. It also promotes school spirit by providing the team with player gear with their school logo and player number on it.”

Up-to-date safety concerns for players and equipment are a top priority. Educational clinics provide most of that information. In today's time, technology training is important as it relates to safety and scholarships as well. The game of football changes yearly in this category. To enhance individual and team players getting recruited, furthering their education with hudl and sideline kits, the coaches need clinics and training yearly.
