Forget Me Not, Inc. (FMN) is a true No Kill animal rescue. We are dedicated to saving the lives of shelter pets who are impounded in kill shelters and at risk for euthanasia. FMN identified the need for a rescue willing to save hard-to-place (e.g., bully breeds, seniors, special needs, injured, and pregnant mothers) in Manatee County. We are committed to nurture and care for the hard-to-place pets, including medical and behavioral care, until the pet is matched with an appropriate adopter and home. Dogs are housed in our kennels or in foster homes. FMN also serves as a sanctuary to those pets unable to overcome physical and/or emotional trauma. Through education and rescue efforts, we want to help the community become no kill, so that every pet is given the time to find a home, and no pet is killed due to space limitations.
