Fertilab is the only incubator between portland and san francisco that fully supports bioscience companies. Those companies have created 40 jobs in lane county in the past year. Pre-accelerator programs mentor open hours (previously called the startup clinic) is now held at four locations - eugene, springfield, cottage grove and veneta - on a rolling monthly basis in all locations. Both the mentor open hours and the id8 pre-accelerator have provided formal training to educate people in entrepreneurial thinking and business development. Since inception, the programs have helped over 30 companies with their startup which has brought over 5 million into the local economy.”
