Executive Director services and additional office administration services are paid through contracted management services with Hope Communications, LLC. The rates paid for these services are established and approved by the independent members of the Board using comparability data. All deliberations and decisions are recorded in the Board minutes.”

“Friends of Agape entered into an agreement with Hope Communications, LLC for management and administrative services including the work of Executive Director, Stephen Hoffman. The scope of these services included donor partner development, organization development, and program development. A total of $146,295 was paid to Hope Communications LLC during fiscal year 2025 with $82,428 allocated to the management role of Executive Director, Stephen Hoffman. Because the LLC meets the definition of a disqualified person, the expense has been reported on Form 990, Part IX, line 6 rather than on line 11a.”

“The organization's Form 990 is prepared by an independent accounting firm. It is reviewed in detail by the Treasurer. A copy of the form 990 is then provided to the Board for review prior to filing with the IRS.”

The Executive Director and Board Chairman review the signed statements and ensure that interested persons are in compliance with the conflict of interest policy.
