“Envision therapeutic horsemanship offers private or small group therapeutic riding classes. These riding session focus on the phyiscal, mental, and emotional needs of each individual rider. For the year ended 2020,envision delivered about 50 sessions of therapeutic riding. The individuals that participated this year spanned the full spectrum of needs. Our participants were autistic, amputees, and individuals who experienced strokes and traumatic brain injuries. Therapeutic riding has helped each of the riders improve their phyiscal needs, psychological needs,social needs, and educational needs.”

These services fall into two categories: equine assisted psychotherapy and equine assisted learing and coaching. These services are both usually facilitated with un-mounted activities with a horse or horses.the activities help individuals discover their own patterns of relating and living life. These services help individuals who are experiencing divorce, grief or loss, depression, bi-polar, ptsd, substance abuse and eating disorders, and periods of family stress. For the year ended 2020, envision delivered about 50 sessions of equine assisted therapy and/or therapeutic activies.”

For the year ended 2020, envision delivered about 5 sessions to help the siblings, parents, caregivers of the individuals who participate in the other therapeutic activities provided by envision and hosted 5 events for senior citizens who live in assisted living facilities, social workers in the community, and partnered with a local hospice for a equine camp experience.
