“The mission of envision therapeutic horsemanship inc. Is to engage a partnership between horses and humans to benefit, empower and facilitate positive change in the lives of individuals and their families who have encountered abuse or trauma and who live with various physical or mental disabilities. Envision accomplishes this by providing therapeutic riding, equine-assitisted therapy and therapeutic activities, as well as, sibling and parent/caregiver programs, and educational classes on topics beneficial to each client's needs. Envision also provides a referral network of traditional and holistic professionals who work together to achieve greatest positive change for the individual. Our services help individuals to become substance free, reduce anxiety, improve balance and muscle function, and build social and communication skills.”

“Envision therapeutic horsemanship offers private or small group therapeutic riding classes. These riding session focus on the phyiscal, mental, and emotional needs of each individual rider. For the year ended 2020,envision delivered about 50 sessions of therapeutic riding. The individuals that participated this year spanned the full spectrum of needs. Our participants were autistic, amputees, and individuals who experienced strokes and traumatic brain injuries. Therapeutic riding has helped each of the riders improve their phyiscal needs, psychological needs,social needs, and educational needs.”

“Envision therapeutic horsemanship also offers equine assisted therapy and therapeutic activities. These services fall into two categories: equine assisted psychotherapy and equine assisted learing and coaching. These services are both usually facilitated with un-mounted activities with a horse or horses.the activities help individuals discover their own patterns of relating and living life. These services help individuals who are experiencing divorce, grief or loss, depression, bi-polar, ptsd, substance abuse and eating disorders, and periods of family stress. For the year ended 2020, envision delivered about 50 sessions of equine assisted therapy and/or therapeutic activies.”

“Envision therapeutic horsemanship also offers other supportive and therapeutic activities and classes for siblings, parents, caregivers of the individuals who participate in the other therapeutic activities provided by envision, senior citizens who live in assisted living facilities, and social workers in the community. These other supportive activities consist of different horse related therapies, a referral network of holistic professionals, and contacts to many other organizations or resources who can provide assistance. For the year ended 2020, envision delivered about 5 sessions to help the siblings, parents, caregivers of the individuals who participate in the other therapeutic activities provided by envision and hosted 5 events for senior citizens who live in assisted living facilities, social workers in the community, and partnered with a local hospice for a equine camp experience. Lastly, envision therapeutic horsemanship initiated equine field trips to local schools in 2020.”
