“The tour organizes and conducts tournaments for qualified local youths to teach them how to play the game of golf including instructions on the rules of golf and how to apply the rules during play. The tour will host approximately 15-20 events per year with participation by the greater santa barbara area courses donating access and green fees. Youth members will be required to qualify for an event as the number is limited to 60 per event. The tour will be offering scholarships to players with financial need, for troubled youths and players planning on traveling out of the area to compete in regional and nataional events.”

“The tour conducted several youth tournaments at several courses. Distributed logoed golf shirts to tour members for promotion of program and easy identification of players for instructional needs during play; held annual awards banquet for those showing improvements.”
