The organization maintained its focus on supporting educational equity initiatives, providing administrative management, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. 026 - Explanation of other changes in net assets or fund balance

The organization changed its method of accounting from the cash basis in prior yearsto the accrual basis beginning in 2024. As part of this transition, the organization recorded receivables, payables, and other accruals that were not previously reflected under the cash method. These adjustments were applied to the beginning net assets to properly present the organization's financial position on the accrual basis. As a result of this change in accounting method, beginning net assets increased and are presented as "other changes in net assets or fund balances" on the form 990
