The mission of this organization is to fulfill viktor e. Frankl's vision by elevating the ideal of responsibility and building a 305 foot statue of responsibility on the west coast to match the 305 foot statue of liberty on the east coast. Freedom = liberty + responsibility. It seeks to create a responsibility movement in america through educational programs, volunteer involvement and community support.

The responsibility foundation ("rf") is based on the inspiration and teachings of viktor e. Frankl, noted psychiatrist, author and holocaust survivor. Dr. Frankl wrote and taught a lot about the concept of responsibility. He said at the core responsibility is simply the ability to respond. Rf embraces that notion and encourages all to respond when opportunities to help solve problems and alleviate suffering align with abilities to do so. In other words, rf encourages the virtue of responsibility.

“The organization added a new program service dedicated to providing relief for refugee families in ukraine.”

“Refugee crisis in ukraine: through rf's network of volunteers we were introduced to a small network of ukrainians who were driving refugees to safety after putin ordered russian armed forces to invade ukraine. These drivers would then return to their war-torn country empty. Rf has the ability to help fund and procure things desperately needed in ukraine like medical supplies, warm clothing and other items to alleviate suffering. Two of our volunteers traveled separately to poland and ukraine weeks after the february 24, 2022 invasion to assess conditions on the ground and determine if rf could help. Both recommended rf do all it could to assist the informal network of 10 drivers. Donations were procured by rf and transferred to the network of drivers, and to others who could ship items to ukraine like defensive body armor, helmets and drones. A fundraiser was held in utah on 4/9/22, which raised more funds earmarked for fuel, vehicle maintenance and procurement of additional vehicles to be used in shepherding refugees out of ukraine.”

IRS990ScheduleO/SupplementalInformationDetail/ExplanationTxt2REFUGEE CRISIS IN UKRAINE: THROUGH RF'S NETWORK OF VOLUNTEERS WE WERE INTRODUCED TO A SMALL NETWORK OF UKRAINIANS WHO WERE DRIVING REFUGEES TO SAFETY AFTER PUTIN ORDERED RUSSIAN ARMED FORCES TO INVADE UKRAINE. THESE DRIVERS WOULD THEN RETURN TO THEIR WAR-TORN COUNTRY EMPTY. RF HAS THE ABILITY TO HELP FUND AND PROCURE THINGS DESPERATELY NEEDED IN UKRAINE LIKE MEDICAL SUPPLIES, WARM CLOTHING AND OTHER ITEMS TO ALLEVIATE SUFFERING. TWO OF OUR VOLUNTEERS TRAVELED SEPARATELY TO POLAND AND UKRAINE WEEKS AFTER THE FEBRUARY 24, 2022 INVASION TO ASSESS CONDITIONS ON THE GROUND AND DETERMINE IF RF COULD HELP. BOTH RECOMMENDED RF DO ALL IT COULD TO ASSIST THE INFORMAL NETWORK OF 10 DRIVERS. DONATIONS WERE PROCURED BY RF AND TRANSFERRED TO THE NETWORK OF DRIVERS, AND TO OTHERS WHO COULD SHIP ITEMS TO UKRAINE LIKE DEFENSIVE BODY ARMOR, HELMETS AND DRONES. A FUNDRAISER WAS HELD IN UTAH ON 4/9/22, WHICH RAISED MORE FUNDS EARMARKED FOR FUEL, VEHICLE MAINTENANCE AND PROCUREMENT OF ADDITIONAL VEHICLES TO BE USED IN SHEPHERDING REFUGEES OUT OF UKRAINE.
