“In january of 2012 a couple of college students decided to listen to the call god had placed on their hearts. Not to start another church or just to be another non-profit, but to let this culture know there is an alternative to the unsatisfying sin of this world. These young men and women are igniting the local church with a passion for christ through love, worship and intentional discipleship, all based on biblical truths. After having gatherings every four weeks the alternative has gone from ninety to over six hundred attendees. Because the alternative only meets once a month leaders at the alternative communicate with local youth pastors plugging in students that were previously un-churched, to a community where they can grow and be poured into. The alternative exists to create a new culture centered on the love of christ.
