“Only regular members in good standing shall have the right to vote. Every member shall have one vote only. Member in good standing is a member who is up-to-date in membership dues and adheres to the uacc bylaws. At the annual general meeting, the annual election shall be coordinated by a temporary election/nominating committee. The election shall be conducted by secret ballot. The election/nominating committee shall be formed and convene at least one month prior to scheduled annual general meeting. The election/nominating committee shall solicit and accept the names of candidates for office and present the names of the candidates at the annual meeting. The candidates receiving the highest number of votes shall be elected (up to the number of directors stated in article vi, section 3.)”

“Before filing the form 990, the form is reviewed by the board of directors. After the form 990 is filed, the form is made available for all members and the public at all general membership meetings for review.”

“All members of the board annually complete and sign a conflict of interest statement. The uacc has adopted and implemented policies and procedures to ensure that all conflicts of interest, or appearance thereof, within the organization and the board are appropriately managed through disclosures, recusal or other means.”

“Documents are made available upon request and at all board meetings for each board member and the general public.”

“Incorporation documents, by laws, irs filings, monthly and annual financial statements of the ukrainian american cultural center, inc (uacc) are available for board members, general membership and the public at all general membership meetings for review. These documents are also available to all board member at board meetings.”
