The CSCA is a community-based organization (CBO) committed to reducing community-NYPD tensions primarily created by past interactions with adult and youth minority interventions. Also to address neighborhood social and economic issues and needs. As a CBO our vision is empowerment for the Bushwick community residents. The programs we propose and implement are focused on areas addressing community development needs that encourage avenues to increase youth awareness of positive roles and participation in the community while promoting educational opportunities, community revitalization, and development.
