Land CURE accomplishes this mission by acquiring homes through the State of Michigan's tax delinquent foreclosure process. Land CURE keeps these properties away from slumlords and speculators. Land CURE sell the rehabilitated properties to owner occupants who agree to stay in the house for 2 to 5 years.

Further, there were maintenance efforts at existing properties before they were sold. Taxes owed on properties in possession of Land CURE and owed to Hazel Park were paid back to the City as well. Land CURE also sold off two properties to investors that enhanced neighborhoods and improved economic development in Hazel Park.

Land CURE sell the rehabilitated properties to owner occupants who agree to stay in the house for 2 to 5 years.

In addition, a donation was made to enhance new signage in front of City Hall that serves as the main gateway to the City of Hazel Park and its revitalized neighborhoods. There were also redevelopment improvements to City Hall. These improvements are associated with the services and work performed by Land CURE, and it determined that these departments that assist Land CURE's mission deserved said improvements.
