“The "40 day prayer covenant" is a covenant or agreement that an individual personally makes with the lord to change his or her prayer practice by spending at least 40 days in devotional prayer with the lord to establish a habit of habitual prayer. Our belief is that it takes 40 days to change or develop a habit and changing prayer habits is like changing other habits. To meet its purpose, 40 day prayer covenant will concentrate in four particular areas: 1) prayer training resource development; 2) an easily accessible website that offers instruction, encouragement and prayer time charting, and social media wherein other prayer warriors can be contacted for information and encouragement; 3) marketing and distribution; and 4) prayer partnerships.”

“Resource development: first and foremost, we have already developed a 40 day prayer covenant card (copy of the english version, plus translations into five major foreign languages are enclosed) and will eventually work on a business card size piece. The founder of the organization, jerry kirk, is currently developing a book explaining the importance and power of the prayer covenant. When completed, this will become a key resource for the organization. Secondly, we will develop prayer training instructional materials that will be distributed to churches and denominations headquarters to be used to engaged their congregations in the "40 day prayer covenant."”

We will have materials that will encourage and equip individuals and organizations, and will make some of our resources, such as 40 day prayer covenant cards available. We will also have testimonies of individuals who have engaged in the 40 day prayer covenant and have seen their lives changed.”
