“$7,038 End-of-Year overall balance for Cash, Savings, and Investments per sub-account balances for different programs including Boosters ($2,038), Boys Water Polo ($500), Girls Water Polo ($500), Boys Swim ($500), Girls Swim ($500), and Reservers ($3,000). Program balances shrank by $1,450 during the year as the Board felt that another year of surplus operation was uncalled for and thus targeted an ending balance of $7,000ish as a prudent ending level. Due to material Program (retiring Varsity Coach of 38 years, JV Coach promoted to Varsity Coach) and Booster (key staff retirement due to graduating Students), the Board voted a $500 ending-balance for each of the Four Team such that $2,038 surplus exists in Boosters accounts to allow for incremental Financial Cushion to fund anticipated Expense$ > Revenue$ issues in CY16-17 due to it being a year of major transition.”
