Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12C

1882 project foundation's conflict of interest policy complies with the irs guidelines. Any individuals serving on the board of directors who receives compensation or reimbursements cannot take part in the decision making process of a transaction that directly affects or benefits them. Anyone wishing to receive a payment from 1882 foundation has to comply with the process by submitting a written request that clearly states the payment amount, reason for payment, and copies of receipts or invoices paid. The executive director must approve the request before the administrative services director processes the payment (often electronically via td bank or quickbooks online). Handwritten checks are issued by the executive director.

Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 15

1882 project foundation relied on comparable data provided by adp to determine appropriate salary and wages for employees and contractors. Staff also applies the 3-vendor cost comparison approach to determine appropriate service and vendor fees. Interested parties are excluded from the decision making process.
