“During 2022, funzeleo was able to return to normal operations. During the year, we graduated 25 zambian teachers, who completed stem training in 2021. We also completed a plan to expand the funzeleo program to dar es salaam, tanzania. We hired staff, recruited local trainers, identified funding sources, built partnerships with local ngos, and introduced funzeleo to the local ngo and education communities. We identified 15 schools from which we would recruit 30 science and math teachers to train. We hope to implement teacher training in dar es salaam in 2023.”
