“Form 990 is being prepared by an outside cpa. A draft of such form is reviewed both by the board and the party responsible for the day to day operations and finances. Any comments raised by them will be discussed with the cpa and any necessary changes will be made to the return prior to filing.”

“The girl fund: girls are, and always have been, at the heart of imagine1day usa foundation, and the work of imagine international in ethiopia. Seven years ago, imagine international identified a problem: girls had for too long been neglected by the education system. Few enrolled, and even fewer stayed in school. It was incredibly rare for girls from rural areas to attend high school, and almost unheard of for them to attend university. In 2017, imagine1day usa foundation shifted its emphasis from supporting female directed scholarship-only projects, to supporting increased enrollment in girls in every project we support. As such, for instance, girls' enrollment in the gobele school has increased from 60 to 182, closing the gender gap (boys' enrolment sits at 302). 101 adult students attend literacy classes, 91 of them women.”
