Mission and Program Overview

Mission

The corporation's mission is to undertake the types of affordable housing and services that are not open to alaska housing directly, but support alaska housing's mission of providing affordable housing and services to individuals and groups in need.the corporation provides housing for low income households at affordable rents or ownership, costs, utilizing a wide range of state and federal government assistance programs. During fiscal 2020, the corporation's efforts included management of interests in five affordable housing projects, an acquisition of land in wasilla, and planning efforts for further acquisitions and/or new construction in 2021.
