THE WATER SCHOOL PROVIDES A SIMPLE, SUSTAINABLE AND AFFORDABLE CLEAN WATER SOLUTION TO THE DEVELOPING WORLD. OUR PROGRAM EMBODIES THE CORE ELEMENTS OF WASH ( WATER, SANITATION AND HEALTH) WHICH INTEGRATES HEALTH AND SANITATION EDUCATION PROGRAMS IN ORDER TO PROVIDE CLEAN DRINKING WATER. THE WATER SCHOOL PROMOTES THE USE OF SOLAR DISINFECTION (SODIS), A TECHNIQUE WHICH EFFECTIVELY TRANSFORMS CONTAMINATED WATER INTO SAFE-DRINKING WATER. A DRAMATIC REDUCTION IN CHILD MORTALITY AND DIABLING ILLNESSES STEMING FROM WATERBOURNE DISEASES SUCH AS CHOLERA, TYPHOID, AND DYSENTERY IS REALIZED IN LESS DEVELOPED COUNTRIES WHERE THIS PROGRAM IS SUCCESSFULLY IMPLEMENTED. THE WATER SCHOOL IMPLEMENTS ITS PROGRAMS THROUGH THE LOCAL AGENCY THE WATER SCHOOL UGANDA. DURING 2015, OUR PROGRAM REACHED OVER 165,000 NEW CHILDREN AND THEIR COMMUNITIES IN UGANDA AND KENYA.$0$0
