Profile
Our most important overall activity is to provide assistance to all veterans of foreign wars. This is both actual and social/mental support. We provide a post home where the veterans can visit to associate with fellow veterans and families. This is a unique environment where shared time is spent with comrades who have shared experiences. Our members provide many community services promoting patriotism and love of our country. We have programs such as "voice of democracy", "patriots pen", and "veterans in the classroom". These programs involve our younger people in writing essays, researching, and public speaking about our nations history. We provide honor guards at least monthly for our community and civic activities. We all to oftne actively participate in funerals of deceased veterans. This is a solemn ceremony involving gun salutes, taps, and flag presentations. We also promote various youth activities. We sponsor teams in several sports. We also sponsor and support boy and girl sco
