“Organizations Primary Exempt Purpose Save the Corcoran is a non-profit organization comprised of a broad community of trustees, donors, artists, students, faculty, alumni and supporters, united to oppose the sale and dissolution of the Corcoran and to preserve the integrity of the art community in Washington, D.C. Save the Corcoran went to trial in August 2014 to try to stop the Corcorans Board of Directors from receiving cy-pres determination to dissolve the Corcorans 150 year old deed and charter. Since that time, the groups mission remains to engage with the community regarding the Corcorans history and support the growth and integrity of the Washington, D.C. art community.”
