“Form 990-ez, part iii - organizations primary exempt purpose north valley symphony orchestra (nvso) empowers musicians of all ages and skill levels to explore, learn, and perform exceptional orchestral music. We are dedicated to fostering a deep appreciation for the arts while building a vibrant, inclusive community that engages and enriches the north valley through the power of music. Form 990-ez, part iii, line 28 - statement of program service acomplishments facilities rental is our largest expense. This amount includes rental of facilities to hold 3 youth and 1 adult orchestra ensemble rehearsals and to hold 2 youth and 4 adult ensemble concerts. This also includes 12 months of rent for storage and transportation of instruments to and from rehearsal and venue space. Musicians served: 128 concert audience served: 2,800 form 990-ez, part iii, line 29 - statement of program service acomplishments orchestra musicians and ensemble directors payments is our second largest expense. This includes payment to 5 ensemble directors, and contract musicians throughout the season. This also includes the cost of contracted musicians for the outreach concert performed in wickenburg. Musicians paid: 32 form 990-ez, part iii, line 30 - statement of program service acomplishments total development expenses is our third largest expense. This includes expenses for our annual gala which netted over $14,600 in donations. Development expenses also nurtured donor relationships throughout the year netting over $18,600 in public support donations.”
