Schedule O:

We are filing this return late. I thought I had filed and extension of time to file via mail but you do not have any record of it. One of two possibilities could have occured. One I simply forgot to mail it or our local post office has had the outside boxes broken into. The local post office was burned down in the 2020 riots and although they have since rebuilt the post office the police station down the block has not been open so there is a higher instance of vandalism in the area. In regards to the dramatic increase in expenses. We had been finding it difficult to offer our programs regularly at the public boarding facility so we rented an entire farm. The farm had facilities to board additional horses and an indoor arena so we could offer more programs year around. We were unable to fill the boarding facility and due to issues with the landlord we were unable to offer enough programing to pay for the high rent. In December of 2023 we moved out and now have our horses in a boarding facility that is more open to our programs. Our revenues/expenses for 2024 have gone back to the same as prior years. Note: when we moved to the farm we had to purchase a tractor because the landlord took away the one she had left for our use. We financed that tractor. Part 1 #16 expenses are from the care and maintenance of the horses and program expenses Transportation $566, Insurance$1032, Education seminar $42, Feed and Hay for our horses and the horses under our care $10,294, Event expenses related to a corp retreat we hosted $718, Horse tack and supplies $709, State registration fees $25, Horse vet expenses $1312, processing fees for online donations $433 Tractor purchase $23330. Horse board for our horses after we moved out of the farm Part 2 #20 - this includes the no-interest loan, financed loan for the tractor and the value of the tractor Part 2 #24 - this includes the the loan, balance of tractor financing and the value of the tractor Part 2 #26 the balances of the loan, and tractor financing Par5 #33 - in 2023 we rented a farm with the intention of expanding our organizations regular activities. In order to offset costs we offered horse boarding. Between the cost of the rent and added expenses of the additional horses we went over our usual revenues. However, since we could not sustain the farm we have since moved out in December 2023 and are no longer offering horse boarding.
