“3 squares, inc., is organizated to support initiatives to combat hunger for at-risk and food insecure families.”

“Organized and fulfilled one of utah's most popular culinary fundraisers. Funds raised were granted to beneficiaries with following results: utahns against hunger was able to expand their garden program which will allow for more students to learn food production, nutrition, harvest and selling at local farmers markets. Additionally, funds were used to purchase necessary equipment which will allow ebt/snap benefit cards to be accepted at more outlets with fresh, nutritional food. Ogden weber community action partnership used funds granted to support community programs in place that teach at-risk and food insecure residents how to become more self- sufficient. The utah food bank used funds granted to expand awareness of the need for food assistance. Identified and met with key business and community leaders to help define areas where 3 squares, inc. Will concentrate food assistance and nutritional education programs in 2014. Including locations, chefs and potential sponsors and what specifically defined programs will help build 3 squares, inc. Through one-on-one meetings, talks and group presentations, awareness of the need for 3 squares, inc. Programs (in 2014) was made to engage potential supporters and key partners in providing programs that fill in the gaps of existing state and private programs for food insecure residents of utah.”
