To promote equal opportunity in the public sector and equal access to government to ensure that voices and opinions of asian american, native hawaiian, pacific islander, and other disadvantaged communities are heard in government and public forum. It advocates advancing the health, social and economic welfare of these communities as a whole by strengthening the leadership pipeline of individuals who are dedicated to serving these communities; providing information and assistance to these communities on how to pursue leadership positions in government and in the public sector; creating and implementing educational leadership development programs that train, mentor and coach current and future public leaders and their communities through local, regional and national strategic partnerships with other organizations; providing a nonpartisan supportive network of asian american, native hawaiian and pacific islander leaders to nurture continued leadership; and any other related activities.
