Mission and Program Overview
Mission
Design for Change equips young people to transform empathy into social action using a simple framework. Educators use DFC to facilitate a design process that fosters empathy and student agency. Students brainstorm, plan, and execute community change projects.
Design for Change USA empowers young people to do good in their community. We train teachers on our curriculum that uses design thinking principles to help kids learn empathy, creativity, confidence and other 21st century skills.
