“The dhpt has entered into a cooperative agreement with the nthp that provides guidelines and standards of care for the dhpt to follow in operating drayton hall. Dhpt was created as an independent nonprofit organization to manage and support the operations, preservation, and programs of drayton hall. The dhpt will consult and collaborate with the nthp on preservation, public engagement, management, sustainable construction, new approaches to preservation, long range plans, required plans and other professional standards related to the drayton hall, subject to any agreed-upon amendments. The dhpt will serve as a responsible steward of the physical assets of the drayton hall including the building and landscaping, collections conservation and management. The dhpt receives quarterly distributions from the nthp's drayton hall endowment as set by the board of trustees of the nthp. The dhpt will remain independent of the nthp, and the president/ceo of the dhpt attends the regularly scheduled meetings of the nthp site directors and the nthp annual meetings and the president of the nthp or his/her designee will be an ex-officio voting member of the dhpt board. The nthp owns and maintains an endowment for the benefit for dhpt totaling $24,960,213 and $22,388,021 as of june 30, 2025, and 2024, respectively. The dhpt received income totaling $1,135,707 and $1,063,886 from the endowment for the years ended june 30, 2025, and 2024, respectively.”

“During june 30, 2018, the new facilities and amenities were completed and reclassified to visitor's center and depreciated over the useful life of the building as a nonfinancial asset. The assets were transferred to the national trust for historic preservation (nthp) on april 24, 2023, when the note payable was satisfied and paid in full”
