Mission and Program Overview
Mission
To educate ohioans on wise public policy and decisions made by those in government that affect it. In 2021, policymakers made decisions on legislative and congressional redistricting that will have an outsize effect on public policy and as such merited analysis, close review, and comment.
Renew ohio believes there needs to be an independent voice supporting wise policymaking by state leaders. To further that goal, renew ohio will educate ohioans on needed reform and praise those who pursue it and criticize those who do not.

“Any director or principal officer of the organization who has a direct or indirect financial interest is an interested person in connection with any actual or possible conflicts of interest. An interested person must disclose the existence of his or her financial interest and must be given the opportunity to disclose all material facts to the directors considering the proposed transaction or arrangement. After disclosure, and after any discussion with the board, the interested person must leave the board meeting while the determination of a conflict of interest is disclosed and voted upon by the remaining board members. If a conflict does exist, the interested party shall not participate during the discussion of, and the vote on, the transaction or arrangement that results in the conflict of interest.
