“Rochester New York Police Officers and First responders withing the city of Rochester, Monroe County. Coming from a variety of backgrounds and serving on a voluntary basis. Flower City Chaplains seek to sustain those in crisis, support those in need and enhance the effectiveness of our police, firefighters, EMT's, other public servants and those that they protect and serve.. As spiritual and social beings the healing of the soul and spirit, reestablishing authentic relationship with other people and the restoration of the whole person requires something more. We provide counseling to individuals regardless of religious or non-religious affiliation. We make hospital and home visits to wounded or downed officers. We also provide food for luncheons for police personnel and host annual picnic/cookouts for officers and personnel. We served over 500 officers last year.”
