“Iackids provides support to families in need. Most children with severe illnesses are not cured and need treatment over their lifetime. We are often called to help after one year of support due to a parent being pulled from work due to their child's multiple and annual hospitalizations. We also cover payments for hotels when parents bring their child to a hospital outside of the state due to the hospitals specialized treatment offerings. Our support allows parents to not have to sleep in a hospital room for weeks and have some sense of a home life. On top of covering these types of bills so families don't lose their home, automobile, or other personal belongings, we also pay for expenses such as meals at restaurants, massages, salon packages, and getaways, which allows parents to have an opportunity to have a short, yet relaxing,day.”
