“The chaco culture conservancy (ccc) supports park projects that fall into 3 broad areas: preservation preservation is hard work on an ever-changing landscape full of cultural and natural heritage. Ongoing projects at both parks ensure that preservation remains at the forefront of our mission. Trails maintaining trails is an important part of public land management. The conservancy works to ensure that trails stay safe, accessible, and educational throughout these parks. Access the conservancy is passionate about promoting access to our public lands. We believe that bringing people into these parks will educate and inspire the next generation of stewards. In 2024 the ccc funded lidar scanning to document at-risk rooms in pueblo del arroyo, renovations at the volunteer campground, visitor center wifi at chaco, trails maintenance training for park employees and event support for aztec park's centennial and tribal consultation meetings. In addition to the program support accomplished in 2024, the ccc hired our first executive director leading to a year of substantive growth and adhievement in our ability to support the parks.”
