To promote cultural tourism in the sedalia/pettis county area and educate others about the history and cultural heritage of the area, particularly the time period between 1860 and 1900.

To build a historical exhibit on the missouri state fairgrounds consisting of a locomotive, cattle car, caboose, windmill and sculpture.
