“The ohio all-star wrestling team's goal is to provide a good opportunity for participants to further their wrestling skills, especially in olympic or freestyle wrestling. Second, the organization will serve as a good cultural learning experience for all those involved. Not only will the team train hard for the scheduled matches, they will have the opportunity to view many sites of this great country of ours that they may never have a chance to view again. This tour will also serve as a good maturation process for the young men, as they will be on their own for six weeks and will need to learn a great number of life skills in the process. In addition, these individuals will have the opportunity to represent their state and promote not only the sport of wrestiling, but america's youth as well. They will be representing their hometown communities and schools. Wrestlers selected for this team are chosen not only on the basis of their athletic accomplishments, but on academic and civic achievements as well.”
